Hi, yes I look at cells and tissues removed from patients, to try and work out what is wrong with them. I do sometimes see types of cancer cells which I’ve not seen before, and that can make it very difficult to tell what type of cancer it might be – and that can make it very difficult to decide what kind of treatment is best for the patient. Unfotunately we don’t yet know everything about human diseases.
