• Question: why do cats always land on their feet

      This is a really good question. Cats have a ‘righting reflex’ which means they can turn the right way round in mid-air, which is amazing. They can do it because they have a very flexible backbone and no real collarbone.

      If they fall from a height though they can still be injured, even though they are the right way up, so don’t try it!
