      On 4 August 1997 Jeanne Calment died, aged 122 years 164 days. She has the longest confirmed human life span in history and lived in France!

      The oldest person who is still alive is Besse Cooper livin in the USA, who is 115 years and 315 days old. The oldest person who has ever lived was Jeanne calment, of France, who died aged 122 years and 164 days.
