Dinosaurs do live in our world today. All living birds are dinosaurs. Honestly. Isn’t that great?
The giant dinosaurs that don’t exist any more could almost certainly live in our world. We don’t know anything in the environment that would stop them.
Absolutely – as long as there was enough food for them to eat. Some lizards and reptiles are very dinosaur-like such as komodo dragons and crocodiles and like Jonathan said birds are descended from dinosaurs!
The large dinosaurs became extinct millions of years ago. Scientists think that a huge meteorite crashed into the earth, causing a rapid change in climate, and the dinosaurs couldn’t adapt quick enough. If the dinosaurs hadn’t become extinct, there doesn’t seem to be anything in today’s world that could stop them living.
However, if dinosaurs had survived til today, it’s likely that human beings wouldn’t have evolved. So it’s not likely that we would be living among dinosaurs today!
