Question: did any scientists inspire you to have this job if so who?

There is one scientist who inspires me; I look up to her above all others – her name was Rosalind Franklin – one of very few women of her generation to succeed in science. The reason you are unlikely to have heard of her is because her greatest results were effectively stolen from her lab by another group. The structure of DNA was a massive breakthrough and several scientists received the Nobel prize for it. Rosalind was barely mentioned – she died of cancer before the prizes were even awarded.
